Seek Calmness In The Movements from Barking Rabbit Media on Vimeo.

World Tai Chi and Qigong Day (WTCQD) is celebrated annually on the last Saturday of April. This day is aimed towards promoting the arts and educating the world of the benefits of all Tai Chi and Qigong practices. Celebrate with us this year with the Yang Style Taijiquan (Tai Chi Chuan) barehand sequence (part 1 of 3).

This video was shot in a single (sunny/cloudy/rainy) day, taking 5-10 second shots every 10 minutes. Performed by students at the YMAA California Retreat Center (ymaa-retreatcenter.org): Frank Verhuelsdonk (Switzerland), Quentin Lopes (USA), Michelle Lin (USA), Kyle Olsen (USA), Enrico Tomei (Italy), Javier Chadud (Chile), and Piper Chan (Canada). Shot and edited by Jonathan Chang.

This video features the song, “Reflections in the Rain” by Mana Junkie (ccmixter.org/people/mana_junkie) under a Creative Commons Attribution license.
